[Collection of poems], [late 17th century].

Manuscript on paper, in a single hand, of 21 primarily amorous and religious poems. Poems on love include Sir George Etherege's The Imperfect Enjoyment; To Lesbia; and To Chloris. Religious poems include an excerpt from Milton's Paradise Lost; Lamentations of Jeremiah; and a verse paraphrase of the 148th psalm; the volume also contains several elegiac poems on death, such as Temple of Death and John Pomfret's A Prospect of Death.
